Aloha Radio

Heralding from the land of surf and sun, it was only natural that Aloha Radio was formed. Aloha Radio is a culmination of all things surf with a mix of songs that any person of any age will enjoy. From high energy Dick Dale inspired tracks featuring the pounding drums and fast picking that made surf rock so popular to catchy Hawaiian style songs that feature lap steel and ukulele, Aloha Radio’s music offers its audience a new and exciting surf experience.

Aloha Radio consists of four permanent members, Lauren Mulderrig on lead vocals, ukulele, and acoustic guitar, Alex Barnett on electric guitar, lap steel and backing vocals, Captin on bass, and Chris Hori on drums and percussion. They are also happy to welcome some special guests on stage from time to time.

In a very short time, this Southern California based band has attracted the attention of music industry executives and producers, professional surfers, surfboard and surf apparel companies, and some of California’s hottest beach clubs and hotspots.

Aloha Radio has rapidly gained a loyal fan base and performed with legendary acts such as: Ben Harper, Donovan Frankenreiter, Weezer, Ziggy Marley, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Cake, The Surfaris, G.
