Aaron Miyamoto

A singer/songwriter from Dana Point, California, Miyamoto started playing guitar and singing with his high school rock band. Since then he has been writing and performing solo acoustic material. “Music is my favorite mode of self-expression. There is nothing more rewarding than performing for an audience and seeing them connect with the music.”

His most notable musical influences are Porcupine Tree, Opeth, At The Drive-In, Neil Young, Coheed and Cambria, and The Dear Hunter.

Aaron Miyamoto recently recorded an album, “Awake”. It is a collection of original songs, most of which were recorded with nothing more than a simple M-Audio interface, a SURE-SM57 microphone, and his guitar. Miyamoto’s good friend Jonathan Morgan Jenkins engineered several tracks, and performed keyboards on them as well.
